🧾 Set Up the Smart Life App with Your Icetubs Engine

Connecting your Icetubs Engine to the Smart Life app allows you to control temperature, set timers, and monitor your tub remotely. It usually works on the first try using this video tutorial, but if you're having trouble, the guide below can help.

📲 How to Connect Your Engine to Wi-Fi

1. Download the app

Install “Smart Life – Smart Living” from the App Store or Google Play.

2. Register your account

Create an account or sign in to begin.

3. Press "Add device"

Tap "Add Device", then choose:

Large Home Appliances → Water Heater (BLE+Wi-Fi)
Do not select other appliance types.

4. Activate Wi-Fi pairing on the engine

Press and hold the Arrow Up and Clock buttons on the engine until it beeps.
The Wi-Fi icon on the screen should begin blinking.

5. Select pairing mode

On the app, choose “Blink Quickly” as the indicator status.
Wait while the engine connects.

6. You’re connected

Once successful, you’ll be able to remotely control your tub’s temperature, set schedules, and monitor performance.

Note: For Android mobiles, "Download apps from external sources" in settings should be activated.

📡 Tips for Better Wi-Fi Connection

1. Stay within Wi-Fi range

Ensure the engine and your phone both have good Wi-Fi coverage (at least 2 bars). Weak signal may prevent the app from pairing.

2. Use the correct device type

Always select Water Heater (BLE+Wi-Fi) under Large Home Appliances during setup.

3. Double-check your network

Make sure you’ve entered the correct Wi-Fi name and password—misspellings or special characters can block the connection.

🚫 Error: “Cooling Unit Offline”

This message means the engine lost Wi-Fi signal. Try:

• Moving the engine closer to the router
• Installing a Wi-Fi booster near the engine location
• Making sure your Wifi-router has 2,4Ghz connection enabled.

⚠️ Android Users

If you're using an Android device, ensure “Download apps from external sources” is enabled in your settings to complete setup.
