1. Garantiedekking

Deze garantie is een aanvulling op uw wettelijke rechten onder de EU-consumentenbeschermingswetten, inclusief Richtlijn 2019/771 betreffende de verkoop van goederen en Richtlijn 2011/83/EU betreffende consumentenrechten, en doet geen afbreuk aan die rechten.

• Consumenten (Privégebruik): Standaard 2 jaar garantie op fabricagefouten en componentenstoringen bij normaal gebruik.
• Zakelijk/Professioneel Gebruik: 6 maanden garantie voor commercieel of professioneel gebruik.
• Uitsluitingen: Roest of corrosie als gevolg van blootstelling aan de kust (binnen 20 km van de kust) is niet gedekt. Als u uw product in een kustomgeving plaatst, neem dan contact met ons op voor beschermende maatregelen via [email protected] of [email protected].

2. Garantievoorwaarden

• Alleen Privégebruik: Deze garantie geldt alleen voor privégebruik, tenzij schriftelijk anders overeengekomen.
• Garantieservice: Defecte producten worden gratis gerepareerd of vervangen, met gereviseerde vervangingen na drie maanden.
• Uitsluitingen: Arbeids- en bezoekkosten zijn niet gedekt.
• Garantieverval: Als schade het gevolg is van onjuist gebruik (zie Sectie 6), vervalt de garantie.

3. Hoe uw garantie te claimen

Als het product binnen twee jaar na aankoop defect blijkt te zijn, gaat het EU-consumentenrecht ervan uit dat het op het moment van verkoop defect was, tenzij wij het tegendeel kunnen bewijzen.

• Consumenten worden aangemoedigd om defecten zo snel mogelijk te melden voor een snellere oplossing, maar moeten binnen twee maanden na ontdekking melden voor garantieclaims.
• Zakelijke/professionele gebruikers moeten defecten binnen 14 dagen na het opmerken van het probleem melden.

Reparaties moeten worden uitgevoerd door een door Icetubs goedgekeurde technicus.

Ongeautoriseerde reparaties maken de garantie ongeldig.

4. Gedekte Componenten

De garantie dekt defecten in de volgende onderdelen:

IJsbaden: Compressoren, condensor & verwarming, ventilatoren, hoofdcircuitkaarten, deksel, temperatuursensoren, vacuümpomp, waterpomp en bedieningspaneel

Sauna’s: Verwarmingselementen, bedieningspanelen, binnen-/buitenpanelen, banken, deuren en bedrading en elektrische systemen

5. Garantie op Vervangen Onderdelen

• Het vervangen van een onderdeel herstart de originele productgarantie niet.
• Vervangen onderdelen blijven gedekt voor de rest van de originele productgarantie.
• Als een vervangen onderdeel binnen de garantieperiode defect raakt, zullen wij het gratis repareren of vervangen door een gereviseerd onderdeel.
• Arbeidskosten voor verwijdering, vervanging of installatie zijn niet gedekt.

6. Correct Gebruik & Garantieuitsluitingen

U dient de Icetub altijd correct te gebruiken. Onjuist gebruik maakt de garantie ongeldig.

6.1. IJsbaden - Beperkingen voor Buitengebruik

• Bij vorst onder -5°C, koppel de koeleenheid los en bewaar deze binnenshuis.
• Bij vorst onder 1°C, zet de koeleenheid 24/7 op ‘automatisch’ met inactieve timers.

6.2. IJsbaden - Garantieuitsluitingen

De garantie dekt niet:

• Roest of corrosie op apparaten die binnen 20 km van de kust zijn geplaatst. Neem contact met ons op voor beschermende maatregelen.
• Onjuist gebruik, inclusief het toevoegen van niet-goedgekeurde stoffen aan het water.
• Schade door transport of verplaatsing, tenzij afgehandeld door Icetubs.
• Onjuiste installatie, inclusief het plaatsen van het product op een oneffen vloer.
• Het niet beschermen van de motor, zoals hem uitlaten of in de modus ‘Koeling’ buiten onder het vriespunt laten staan.
• Het plaatsen van vreemde voorwerpen in het bad, zoals glazen, speelgoed of andere items.
• Omgevingsschade door brand, overstroming, diefstal, plagen of extreem weer.
• Het niet opvolgen van installatie-, bedienings- of onderhoudsinstructies zoals verstrekt door Icetubs.
• Gebruik van niet-goedgekeurde chemicaliën, inclusief chloor, zouten, magnesium of corrosieve stoffen.
• Waterschade aan elektrische componenten door nalatigheid.
• Roestvorming door nabijheid van gechloreerde zwembaden of vochtige omgevingen zonder ventilatie.
• Oververhitting door slechte ventilatie, zoals het blokkeren van ventilatoren of het te dicht bij muren plaatsen van het apparaat.
• Elektrische schade veroorzaakt door niet-geaarde of onjuist geïnstalleerde stopcontacten, of slechte elektrische installatie (bijv. het product te dicht bij een stopcontact plaatsen of het snoer blootstellen).
• Persoonlijk letsel, inclusief uitglijden, vallen, verdrinken of bewusteloos raken tijdens gebruik van het product.

6.3. IJsSauna - Garantieuitsluitingen

De garantie dekt niet:

• Onjuist gebruik, inclusief het overschrijden van het aanbevolen temperatuurbereik.
• Roest of corrosie op apparaten die binnen 20 km van de kust zijn geplaatst. Neem contact met ons op voor beschermende maatregelen.
• Schade door onjuist transport, installatie of wijzigingen die niet zijn geautoriseerd door Icetubs.
• Water- of vochtschade aan elektrische componenten door blootstelling of onjuiste afdichting.
• Overbelasting van elektrische circuits boven de aanbevolen specificaties.
• Verwaarlozing, ongeautoriseerde reparaties of schade door normale slijtage.
• Persoonlijk letsel als gevolg van misbruik, gebruik zonder toezicht of het niet opvolgen van veiligheidsrichtlijnen.

7. Aansprakelijkheidsbeperking

• Icetubs B.V. is niet aansprakelijk voor eigendomsschade, waterschade of persoonlijk letsel als gevolg van onjuist gebruik.
• Deze garantie sluit indirecte, incidentele of gevolgschade uit, inclusief verlies van gebruik of economisch verlies.

8. Toepasselijk Recht en Geschillen (EU)

Deze garantie wordt beheerst door Nederlands recht. Als u echter een Consument bent in de Europese Unie, zijn uw rechten beschermd onder de toepasselijke EU-consumentenwetten.

Als er een geschil ontstaat, kunt u gerechtelijke procedures starten bij:

• De bevoegde rechtbanken van Amsterdam, Nederland, of
• De rechtbanken van uw land van verblijf binnen de EU, zoals toegestaan door de EU-consumentenbeschermingswetten.

In geval van een geschil kunt u ook gebruik maken van alternatieve geschillenbeslechting (ADR) onder EU-Richtlijn 2013/11/EU.

2. Warranty Conditions

• Private Use Only: This warranty applies only to private use unless stated otherwise in writing.
• Warranty Service: Defective products will be repaired or replaced free of charge, with refurbished replacements after three months.
• Exclusions: Labor and call-out charges are not covered.
• Warranty Void: If damage results from improper use (see Section 6), the warranty is void.

3. How to Claim Your Warranty

• If the product is found to be faulty within six months of purchase, UK law assumes it was defective at the time of sale, unless we can prove otherwise.
• Consumers are encouraged to report defects as soon as possible for faster resolution but must report within two months of discovery for warranty claims.
• Business/professional users must report defects within 14 days of noticing the issue.

4. Covered Components

The warranty covers defects in the following parts:

• Ice baths: Compressors, condenser & heating, fans, main circuit boards, lid, temperature sensors, vacuum pump, water pump, control panel.
• Saunas: Heating elements, control panels, interior/exterior panels, benches, doors, wiring, and electrical systems.

5. Warranty on Replaced Parts

• Replacing a part does not restart the original product warranty.
• Replaced parts remain covered for the remainder of the original product warranty.
• If a replaced part fails within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it with a refurbished part free of charge.
• Labor costs for removal, replacement, or installation are not covered.

6. Proper Use & Warranty Exclusions

You must always use the Icetub correctly. Improper use voids the warranty.

6.1. Ice Baths - Outdoor Usage Restrictions

• In frost below -5°C, detach and store the cooling unit indoors.
• In frost below 1°C, run the cooling unit 24/7 on ‘automatic’ with timers inactive.

6.2. Ice Baths - Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

• Rust or corrosion on units placed within 12 miles of the coast. Contact us for protective measures.
• Improper use, including adding non-approved substances to the water.
• Damage from transport or relocation, unless handled by Icetubs.
• Improper installation, including placing the product on an uneven floor.
• Failure to protect the engine, such as leaving it off or in ‘Cooling’ mode outdoors below freezing.
• Placing foreign objects in the tub, such as glasses, toys, or other items.
• Environmental damage from fire, flood, theft, pests, or extreme weather.
• Failure to follow installation, operation, or maintenance instructions as provided by Icetubs.
• Use of unauthorized chemicals, including salts, magnesium, or corrosive substances.
• Water damage to electrical components due to negligence.
• Rust formation due to proximity to chlorinated pools or humid environments without ventilation.
• Overheating due to poor ventilation, such as blocking fans or placing the unit too close to walls.
• Electrical damage caused by ungrounded or improperly installed outlets, or poor electrical setup (e.g., placing the product too close to a socket or leaving the cord exposed).
• Personal injuries, including slipping, falling, drowning, or blacking out while using the product.

6.3. Ice Sauna - Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

• Improper use, including exceeding the recommended temperature range.
• Rust or corrosion on units placed within 12 miles of the coast. Contact us for protective measures.
• Damage from improper transport, installation, or modifications not authorized by Icetubs.
• Water or moisture damage to electrical components due to exposure or improper sealing.
• Overloading electrical circuits beyond recommended specifications.
• Neglect, unauthorized repairs, or damage from normal wear and tear.
• Personal injuries resulting from misuse, unsupervised use, or failure to follow safety guidelines.

7. Liability Disclaimer

• Icetubs B.V. is not liable for property damage, water damage, or personal injury due to improper use.
• This warranty excludes indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use or economic loss.

8. Applicable Law and Disputes

This warranty is governed by Dutch law. However, if you are a Consumer in the United Kingdom, your rights are protected under applicable UK consumer laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If a dispute arises, you may bring legal proceedings in either:

• The competent courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands, or
• The courts of your country of residence in the UK, as permitted by UK consumer protection laws.

In case of a dispute, you may also access Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms in accordance with UK consumer law.

The warranty does not cover:

• Rust or corrosion on units placed within 12 miles of the coast. If you reside in a coastal area, you must contact Icetubs ([email protected] or [email protected]) before purchase for guidance on protective measures. Failure to do so may void the warranty for corrosion-related issues
• Improper use, including the addition of non-approved substances to the water. This includes, but is not limited to, unauthorized chemicals such as chlorine, bromine, salts, magnesium, or any other corrosive substances not expressly approved in writing by Icetubs.
• Damage from transport or relocation, unless the unit is handled by Icetubs.
• Damage caused by placing the product on an uneven surface.
• Failure to protect the engine by leaving it off or in ‘Cooling’ mode outdoors below freezing.
• Placing foreign objects in the tub, such as glasses, toys, or other items.
• Exposure to environmental hazards, including fire, flood, theft, pests, or extreme weather.
• Failure to follow installation, operation, or maintenance instructions as provided by Icetubs.
• Use of unauthorized chemicals, including salts, magnesium, or corrosive substances.
• Water damage to electrical components caused by negligence.
• Rust formation from placing the tub near chlorinated pools or in humid environments without proper ventilation.
• Overheating due to poor ventilation, such as covering fans or placing the unit too close to walls.
• Electrical damage caused by ungrounded or improperly installed outlets, or improper electrical setup, including placing the product too close to a socket or leaving the cord exposed to potential hazards.
• Personal injuries, including slipping, falling, drowning, or blacking out while using the product.

6.3. Sauna Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

• Improper use, including exceeding the recommended temperature range.
• Rust or corrosion on units placed within 12 miles of the coast.
